When are you due?
Check on the pregnancy calculator!
So
you have just shared with everyone the good news that you’re pregnant!
Likely, the one response other than “Congratulations!” would be, when
is the baby due? Well, one of the easiest ways to know when it’s time
to welcome your little joy into the world is to rely on a very simple calculator
known as the pregnancy calculator.
All
in all, it takes 280 days from the first day of your last period to complete a
full term pregnancy. But save
yourself the mathematics. Here’s
how it works. In order to calculate
the expected due date of your baby, you’ll need to know the first day of your
last menstrual period and the average length of your normal menstrual cycle.
Not only do you now know when you’ll get to meet your little one up
close and personal, the pregnancy calculator also gives you the estimated age of
your baby at this point. You can now know at which stage of pregnancy you are and how
many weeks more to go before D-day.
But of course this is just a general guide to the nine months as an expectant
mother. It’s important to pay
attention to what your body is telling you, because only about 5% of babies
actually arrive on time. Good luck!
